I tend to have a hard time with plotting, I cannot lie, but I am always down to throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks. Don't feel forced to make stuff overly serious, either. It's in her nature to be silly! She can also be in more serious situations, though, so don't think we can't tone it down some. I'm flexible, so is she. Location is flexible, given her backstory of traveling. I like playing around with stuff and don't worry too much about details that aren't the most important.

I am a slow writer because I work full time (5 days a week) and I get burnt out easily because of it. I have to carefully weigh my energy out per day so I can function, so I most likely will be more active on weekends and when I have breaks from work (ex: summer, winter break). Please don't rush me or push me to answer stuff. If you don't see me active on the dash, I can promise that everybody is waiting on something.

MUSICAL TALENT ✦ Shannon used to busk for a living at some point, using her handy dandy accordion skills! It's not the most popular instrument around, but autism be damned, my girl can polka. She can sing a little, too, but she never seems to try seriously. It's not as fun if she does!HANDY ✦ Shannon's a MacGyver type of girl. She can fix things up pretty well, but maybe it's because she learned a lot from hanging around the hardware store... Either way, she tends to make acquaintances with folks in her apartment building by offering to fix stuff up for free.UNYIELDING OPTIMISM ✦ Shannon has a zest for life that may seem exhausting for some, but she keeps this way else she stops functioning entirely. She sees the silver lining on purpose to keep going and not dwell too much on bad stuff going on. ABOUT HER SCHIZOPHRENIA ✦ Shannon experiences delusions, namely believing that she is a clone. It's not advised (nor very kind) to try and convince her during an episode that's she's wrong or that it's fake. To her, it is very real, and she tends to go to great lengths to find evidence or prove it. Telling her it's just made up or in her head would just make things much, much worse. She also has auditory hallucinations of voices criticizing or commanding her; she most often ignores them even if they can hurt her feelings. She also experiences visual hallucinations, such as seeing people who aren't in the room with her, odd images or text superimposed over what should be in its place, or things she can't even describe or are unidentifiable.Shannon experiences psychotic episodes more often when stressed, fatigued, or in a place with a lot of noises/stimuli all at once. She may not be able to explain herself well during these times, as she can experience alogia (symptom that keeps her from saying many words/makes her talk less). She may also struggle with finding motivation and experiencing joy/pleasure when having an episode. In general, Shannon has difficulty identifying emotions/expressions on someone’s face and in their voice, which adds to her difficulty understanding people. She is medicated, but sometimes struggles regarding filling her prescription or being consistent with her doses.PAST JOB EXPERIENCE ✦ Shannon has done everything from being a Walmart employee catching Amish people in the electronics section, being a zoo tour guide, hardware store employee who memorized just about every type of tool around, fast food worker, foil commercial actress/spokesperson, disgruntled babysitter, radio show host, and more! She's experienced for sure!ABOUT HER HSD ✦ Shannon's HSD is felt all over her body in her different joints. Her knees seem to go inward when she stands, and her elbows seem to bend more than usual when she holds her arms out. Her posture can appear strange to others, and she is not always aware of how she stands. She experiences recurring and persistent pain, GI issues, and bruises easily. She has dislocated a shoulder and still deals with pain from it, as it still pops out on occasion.Shannon appears clumsy due to her having poor perception of how close she is to things, so she runs into stuff often. She's uncoordinated in her movements but dances anyways. She is also not good at determining how much force she should use and often under/overshoots actions like reaching for something.ABOUT HARVEY ✦ The beloved pet hamster she's had for years on end... because she's named every hamster Harvey. It helps her feel less bad when one passes and makes her feel like Harvey is eternal. Sometimes she's convinced he's an alien or something, which she's not too mad about. It'd be cool! She has a locket with Harvey in it to look at when she’s in times of trouble.VARIOUS QUIRKS ✦ Shannon's fave candy is either Ring Pops, Swedish Fish, or Nerds. She has a “junk shelf” because she thinks it deserves to be displayed (she doesn’t think it’s junk, more like trinkets) but also because it’s easier to look through and find something. She's quite good at making balloon animals. Has at least eight sticky hands on her ceiling at this point in time. The first thing she puts in her new place when she moves is her “hang in there, baby!” poster.

Shannon Eagan, the girl with a pun for a name. Some say she was set up for failure with it, but she's on her feet and finding success and happiness in unordinary ways. She could be described as having the demeanor of a living cartoon character, zany, loud as her shirts, and always on the move. She's pinballed around the country in hopes she can prove to everyone around her and back home that she's bright and capable of standing on her own. Even if this means dealing with the pain of having people jack her car or seeing how many collective parking tickets she can get, she'll move around till she's satisfied.

Shannon, albeit having a zest for life, does have her insecurities and fears. While she takes pride in being "out there" and whatever other variations of weird people want to use, she secretly worries that people will find her to have poor moral character or bad in some way. She'll concede that she can be wacky, but that doesn't mean she's going to hurt anybody! Shannon can get spooked at times, but she's more likely to isolate herself than become violent. She's the type to apologize to a chair for bumping into it and is mostly quite agreeable.

Unfortunately, in her quest to be herself, she still hasn't been able to figure other people out. Why are some people so mean? How was she supposed to know when she can and can't joke around? Gosh, it's like there's a ton of made-up rules that nobody tells anybody else! It's hard watching her volume and expression when she's never been made aware of them before. Shannon hasn't been able to wrap her mind around it all, but she's nice enough to make some friends, and isn't that the important part? Life is meant to have fun, and she can't spend it moping around!

STRANGE
CHILDHOOD ✦ Shannon had an excellent childhood, even if her poor father often took the brunt of her antics. She mistook him as a home intruder once in the dark and almost shot his eye out with her bb gun. In another incident, she ate several pages worth of some screenplays he'd written because she thought she'd gain his way with words. He, of course, nursed her through her stomachache. Shannon watched cartoons obsessively, finding comfort and inspiration in them. Her mother didn't understand a thing about them but happily listened to Shannon explain the episodes as long as she sat still long enough to let her detangle her hair.

TEEN ✦ Yeesh, why had nobody told her people could be so mean? Puberty brought along the feeling like she wasn't normal, or at least those jerks in class who jeered at her show and tell presentation said so. She didn't have many friends after that, but she did spend plenty of time enjoying some sci-fi movies and shows... she couldn't pick between Star Trek and Star Wars, are you insane? Shannon spent a lot of time in her head, making up scenarios for fun to keep her company.

EARLY 20s ✦ Shannon decided college wasn't really for her and traveled instead, wanting to break away from her hometown. She got homesick incredibly quickly, of course, but she'd been made to feel like she'd never make anything of herself if she stayed. Sometimes she got upset, but didn't everyone? The way people reacted felt wrong; why weren't they kind about her struggle? Even if she missed her parents, the way she felt in town was far too oppressive.
FLAT OUT WEIRD
20s-30s ✦ Shannon has been through many jobs and living situations by this point. She's lived in her car for a bit, as well as a motel. It's hard keeping jobs when things get confusing and mixed up! She tries her best and is as earnest and well-intentioned as the rest, but she can't seem to please anybody! Meh, she wasn't one for corporate work, anyways. It's just one of those days, but she's refusing to be mellow even in the face of adversity. In fact, she thinks she'll just keep getting more and more stupid.
